Going to see the wizard? Heck, I figured you'd just do it online with Cafe Press or the like. Seems like going to see a screen printer is so 1990s.

ugh... that CafePress stuff is total crap... cheapest of the cheap, crappest of the crap.

well, I did say "or the like".

I just ordered a bunch of Twilight movie swag off of there (NOT).

Never used Cafe Press, but seen it a lot for custom print stuff. Thanks for the testimonial, Carl.

Yes, I've personally used it in the past and it was all cheaply made crap. After that experience, I prefer to see the product before I buy.

I guess it can be OK, but the stuff I have seen from there is cheeeeeap.

I like the thought of going to a local company, it makes sure you got exactly what you want. I had logo sizing problems at first, and was able to resolve that on site. I doubt I could have done that over the internet.

Good enough. Two testimonials leads me to believe I will never use Cafe Press.

For the record, I hear SpreadShirt is good. In fact, they apparently reject designs if they don't meet their quality standards...

I'm hoping the local guy here can make me a deal on multiple products... or at least knowing that I will come back for more if he does good on the t-shirts.

I didn't make it to the shop like I'd hoped though. Going to try again in the morning.

I used to design and make vehicle signs and window signs with vinyl. And t-shirts, and hats with heat press vinyl. I still have all the equipment.

I don't know if you are planning on screen print or heat press vinyl but if you do plan on vinyl then get the 'signblazer' software (it's free full use trial version you can download online)it came with my vinyl cutter and is pretty good program. Then you can mess around with it and make some designs. The current beerleg logo would be easy to make in the program.

Would you be interested in making the products we want/need?

Not to put a damper on it........

.......but if this is for sale to help boost your funding of this site, I for one, aren't going to be walking around with a "Beer Leg" t-shirt or hat.

I bought the POB stuff, and the RPLS cookbook, etc., etc., but "Beeg Leg" isn't going to make the cut.

Sorry....just my own opinion.

I'll have to say I agree with Deral's take on this... It will be a weekend or off-time shirt. I don't do beer advertising during work hours. Then again, I try not to wear my business stuff when I'm out having a few.. Locally at least.

Most any local screen artist will be able to connect you with a list of respectable sources and know their reputation for price and lasting quality.

I like your red/white target icon. I will fit in anywhere.

That Iman making a site line to the beer mug brings a wide smile and maybe a breathalizer test in some circles.

I'm with Angelo... cannot see me wearing a shirt that said:

Beerleg.com
Come on in, have a beer,
and discuss Land Surveying

I agree I have a Cal Fire ball cap and several Cal Fire t-shirts and polo shirts. I never wear those outside of work and I especially never wear those when drinking alcoholic beverages of any kind.

I bring what I call "incognito" shirts with me. Quick change at the hotel or barracks and go out to dinner so I can have a beer without causing a problem for me or the department.

If you behaved yourself it probably wouldn't be a problem.
