It's not really a problem for me, but I'd kinda like to see when things happened, without doing too much math...

It's probably just a setting I don't know about; but the time displayed, for the time the post was posted, seems to be about 8 hours ahead.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

TIA

Dougie

Edit-It's 11:36 out here on the left coast and this is what the time says at the bottom:

It looks like you're really only about two minutes into the future, which isn't all that bad.

There's a way to get you back, I saw on the sci-fi channel somewhere .. forgot what it was though.

What's wrong? did you did not read above where Mr. Cash said: "Click on your name in the upper right on the orange menu bar. From the pulldown click "my profile". On the profile screen click the tab "account" and scroll down to change your timezone setting to something a little closer to home."
for me that is LA or Tijuana.

Change your "timezone" to UTC-8.

Maybe try changing your timezone to something random, save, then change it back to Los Angeles or Tijuana or UTC-8 and save again.

Ah! Here's something I learned. I had been trying to change my avatar for weeks but it wouldn't show up on my end, even if I cleaned the cache.

?ÿ

Then the other day I created a forum post whining about ER bills, but then erased it after about five minutes. Something in the creating, and then deleting an OP changed the settings.

@dougie I'm really not sure what's going on with the time issue. I've created a few accounts, tested my own account, used different browsers, tested all those users on 3 different computers, and all is working fine. Sadly, it's nearly impossible for me to fix something when I can't replicate the problem myself and thus, track it down. We are in the same timezone, which makes it even more odd.

I might suggest that you go into?ÿ your profile, change something (anything) and then save it. Then change it back and save again. Maybe that will trigger everything to update. Other than that, I'm out of ideas. 🙁

Just checking back in to see if this is still an issue after several changes have been made over the last month or so.
