I have received two PM in the last few days. The alert banner no longer pops up to alert me of a new private message. Perhaps an issue with the recent upgrade?
It appears in your notification list.?ÿ The bell thingy.
@holy-cow Not on my end. The bell has no notifications listed for private message - no updates for two weeks.?ÿ
Interesting.?ÿ I had a message from Nate the Surveyor yesterday.?ÿ Notice of that appeared in the list of notifications.
@holy-cow I get a notice in the bell that you replied to my post, but no PM notification.
Odd.?ÿ The bell is what alerted me yesterday to the message from Nate.?ÿ At the time I thought that was weird.?ÿ But, I don't get many messages, so I just assumed it was the new way of doing things.?ÿ Guess Wendell is going to need to explain this more fully.
Check your notifications now.?ÿ I sent a test message a minute ago.
Guess Wendell is going to need to explain this more fully.
?ÿ
I been 'splainin' my whole life.?ÿ BTW, I loved Lucy and Desi from the first day we got a TV set in our home.?ÿ They were already in reruns and on some time during weekday mornings.?ÿ December Bride and Pete and Gladys were other shows on in the mornings.?ÿ Queen for a Day was entertaining for some odd reason.?ÿ Not sure I ever understood why people thought it was so great.
did you try tuning it off; and turning it back on again?
I wish that the list of notifications under the bell thingy were from most recent at top to oldest at bottom.
?ÿ
The bell shows as new notifications, but there is no orange banner that pops up when you log in.?ÿ
?ÿ
A different time for sure...
How many times do you see sitcom actors light up a cigarette, today?
Private Message notifications have been moved to the bell icon. This required some changes to styles and scripts, which leads me to the question: have you refreshed your browser cache? https://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/ ?ÿ-- I always ask this first because it resolves the issue almost every time.
If you don't want to clear your entire browser cache, you might be able to fix the problem simply by hitting CTRL F5 a couple of times in a row while in the forum.
And if that doesn't work, you could try deleting your browser cookies specifically for rplstoday.com and then logging in again.
