Is there a way to see the latest post instead of the first post in a thread? Also the preview only shows the first few characters not the whole post. If you have to open the thread to read it anyway why even have an annoying preview popup?

Are there any user controls to set what i want to see?

When you click the title of a thread, it will take you to the first unread post automatically. Depending on your internet connection, this might take a second or two, so once you click the title, give it a chance to take you there. Also, if you are always cleaning cookies on your computer, then the site won't know what you've read last (or not) and will not know where to take you, hence the auto-redirect won't work.

I'm a little confused by this, because I'm not aware of a preview feature. Did you stumble on something new to me? If you can elaborate (the page you are viewing when you see previews and what you are doing to see them), that would help, too.

Visit your account page ( https://surveyorconnect.com/account/ ) to see what options you have available to you.

I believe he is referring to the preview of the first post in a thread that appears when you move your arrow-thingy over that title when looking at the list of threads you have chosen to consider at the moment. (recent posts, new posts, etc.)

Interesting. In Chrome, I get a tooltip telling me that clicking the title will take me to the first unread post. Nothing more.
In Internet Exploder, I get a nice preview. Chalk one up for IE for a change. Who knew.

That said, it's a function of the software. However, if you click on the title, it will take you to the first unread post. Sometimes it may take a second or two, depending on your internet connection and/or if you've recently cleared your cookies.

I'm using Chrome and I get a preview box when I just hover over the thread title on the recent posts page.

Ah, maybe it's because I'm using beta Chrome....

So why do you think your chrome is beta than my chrome?

But my point is I don't necessarily want to click on the post I am just looking for a preview of the latest post. Or better still, like the old forum you could go down the list and preview each post without ever opening any thread.

Right, but that is just how the new software functions. Sorry.
