I'm currently building a jobs listing system for the website to replace the job forums. One of the fields I want to create for someone submitting a job listing is for licenses and/or certifications required. So, I need to come up with a list of checkboxes. Here's what I have so far:

  • CST
  • LSIT
  • PLS
  • WRE
  • CFedS

Am I missing anything? Thanks! 🙂

I'm not sure that WRE will be appropriate for a national audience, being that is strictly an Oregon thing.

I'm probably a half hour from Oregon and even I don't know what that is.

I think it stands for Water Rights Examiner, but that's just hearsay from a CA guy.

Also Flood Plain Manager or related title?

And there are also surveyors who are lawyers.

CST has several levels.

Some states do not use the LSIT designation. Oregon uses LSI (Land Survey Intern).

Not all states use the PLS designation. LS, RLS, RPLS, PSM are also used. There may be others. Some states have different levels of licensing. Texas, for example.
