When I attempt to upload a picture (pic's from the field) in a posting, I get a message that its too big, actually over 2 megabits, and thus it will not upload.

Is there a way to get around this buy triming it or something.
Is the 2 megabit a forum limit on image attachments?

Open it up in paint (most windows based PC's will have it in the Accessories file) and reduce the file size by percentage or to a size. Or email it to me at cbcorrell@gmail.com

I have used "IrfanView" to resize, some that have been to large.

I use Irfanview, too. Open the file, click "Save As", and you can specify the quality. Irfanview is my default viewer/editor/everything.

When I open a picture it automatically opens in Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Click on File and Export and then on the right you can select a size. You can also rename and send to a different directory if you want.

I usually use the RESIZE command in the photo software to reduce the pixels down to around 1000 x 1200.
