One of my favorite ways to find stuff on here is to use Google with the search terms
site:rplstoday.com and then whatever I'm looking for, e.g.:
site:rplstoday.com "helmert corrections"
or
site:rplstoday.com "bigger in Texas"
Very useful. Until the upgrade. Now they are all 404'd. The links seem to have changed. Perhaps Google will re-index eventually? This is an observation, not a complaint.
Yup, we're working on that. Plus it will take Google a few days to figure it all out once we've made the proper updates. All else fails, even if some are missed, Google would eventually re-index everything and those searches would work again.
Now that Google seems to have caught up (mostly) with the updated URLs, I think you will find that using those custom search tools via Google.com will work quite a bit better now.
I had also previously updated the redirects and fixed some other issues regarding URLs (weeks ago), so between that and Google catching up on indexing, we should be doing well now. In fact, I see that we are now getting a LOT more surveying-related traffic from Google searches now than we used to with the old forum software.
