Does anyone else have an annoying delay when waiting on the forum for this board load. The site shows up on the screen right away and status bar for IE shows fully loaded and then it locks up there for 30 secons or so. I'm running IE8 with Windows XP Home addition. I used to have this same problem with the old RPLS.com and everyone told me to use Firefox instead of IE8, which is fine, but I hate to load a new browser when this is the only site that gives me problems.
Have you tried removing all your cookies and relogging in after first rebooting computer. BTW leave computer turned off for a minute.

I am experiencing the same symptoms today too.
Running Windows 7 w/Explorer 8.
Actually everything on the net has been running slow for me all week.
There have been more reports of this problem lately and I have alerted the host.
The good news, however, is that we're moving the site this Saturday night. I know I've said this before, but we had some technical issues that we wanted resolved before making the big move to a dedicated server. The issues have been ironed out now and we're getting ready!
Hang in there... 🙂
I always use Google Chrome when visiting BeerLeg. It's always fast, I have never had any problems whatsoever concerning delay in loading the page or the posts. My connection on this computer is thru my wireless LAN, which connects to QWest DSL router on the other side of the house. There are so many variants of connection out there that your results may vary, but Beerleg.com continues to work quite well for me. Granted I live in a remote area that nevertheless is served by highspeed DSL. Not many people in this town use the bandwidth that I do. If you live in a hugely populated area, maybe things are different.

Beerleg didn't work very well for me on IE, but I already had Firefox installed and other than a little snag now and then, it works fine compared to well...you know. Looking forward to the lightning speed next week, though.
Thanks...not really a problem, I just assumed it was my setup until I saw others posting about it... 😉
I use Google Chrome and don't have any problems...
