Yes sir. Really though, it takes ALOT to appall me, and my jaw just hit the desk when I read that. I put in my measly 30 bucks a quarter, which really isnt much for all that Wendell and Angel do. If for nothing else, I do it so I do not have to endure the alternative. I would rather cut off my own fingers and gouge out my eyes than to go over there. 😉

I have to wholly disagree. How is it tacky? Now, if Wendell was begging/whining for contributions while out driving Escalades and wearing lots of bling (think Pro Sports owners and players), now THAT would be tacky.
The thread was started by Brad Ott suggesting that people that frequent this site throw in a few bucks for its upkeep and upgrades. Dave Ingram made a comment wondering about "behind the scenes" financial action, and Wendell released a few facts about the site. No money was mentioned other than what has been collected, and he didn't have to tell anyone that.
So, I'm not sure what your definition of "tacky" is, but this is nowhere close to the threshold of what I call tacky.
And, of course, that's just my opinion.

I think,and just my opinion, that was a slap in the face at Wendell. Like others have pointed out, Wendell doesnt ask or beg for donations, nor should he have to. If it were my site, like any other quality site, membership would have a price, then there would be no need to even be discussing this. Financials of any one on here whether site owners or members is not really any bodys business but their own. I personally hope that the Harness' get uber rich from their endeavors, as I do for everyone. If it comes from donations, advertisers, memberships or a mixed bag,its nobodys business but their own.
