Kent, being unable to post here, may resurrect the POB forum. Could brighten up things over there. Or, maybe provoke the wheels to turn a bit ... O well. It reminds me of some of the situations in James Herriots books!

I think this is the kind of commentary that had some folks banned. It does nothing to advance our profession or to assist any particular member. We should all try to restrain from posting everything we might be thinking, especially when our thoughts are personal in nature.

It would be hidden from the public and you'd have to agree to a special set of Terms, and each request for access would be granted manually, one by one. Get it out of your system and leave it out of the civilized side of things.
Don't waste your time Wendell- They can and do hammer each other on FB. You have a great thing going here as it is. Let the toxic crap find it's own home somewhere else.
So, I've been reviewing some threads around here since I banned a few folks, and it seems maybe I should be banning some others as well. Let's just say that if you are bad-mouthing someone that is banned, regardless of why or how they were banned, you are personally attacking them and they can't even defend themselves. So I suggest you keep that in mind as you post, because the ban hammer can come out again.
Imagine a couple of kids arguing about something, then Mom comes along and pulls one of them aside to punish him, while the other is sticking his tongue out and making faces. But the kid in trouble can't respond because Mom put him in time-out. That's basically what I'm talking about.
