TSC7 and R8-2 Compatibility help

I currently have a TSC3 that I use with 2 R8-2's.  I generally run a network rover, and when cell signal is bad, base/rover.

I have the opportunity to purchase a used TSC7 at an affordable price, with Access (2020 I believe).  I am wanting to double check with the crowd to make sure that the TSC7 and the R8-2 would get along, and I would have two available network rover setups.  

Can anyone verify that the Bluetooth connection would work between the two, or if it would require a data cable.

My next move would be to update to a newer receiver.
