On the newer Trimble receivers (R10, R12, Alloy) there is a web interface. Under receiver configuration there is a tracking page. Other than the help file, which has some recommended settings, I have not been able to find a comprehensive list of settings.
I do notice that after I do a RTK survey (VRS for example) with a data collector, some of the frequencies and some constellations are unchecked. I can check them all, run a static survey, and it collects all of the requested constellations/frequencies. Then when I do a VRS survey it resets them.?ÿ
Here is what the page looks like.?ÿ
That was an Alloy. Here is what it looks like on an R10-2 after starting an RTK survey:

Does anyone have any documentation on what the recommended settings are? Is there any harm to selecting all of them? I have done lots of static obs with all of them checked and no problems.?ÿ
Is it possible your survey style on data collector is turning them off. I doubt there is any harm in having them all on is the R10-2 not tracking them all anyway?
Not sure if this is related, I don't have access to the same equipment.?ÿ
Does the VRS service provide full satellite service??ÿ In the same way a newer rover linked to an older base can only use the constellations its getting corrections for from the base.?ÿ Is the R10-2 fully enabled for all??ÿ Do you need dealer to enable service?
I want to use local Cors (LINZ PositionRT) but at the moment most stations seem to be GPS/Glonass corrections only.?ÿ?ÿ
The data collector is definitely turning them off, my question is why? I will check what it does after an RTK survey from my base to my rover with all possible constellations turned on in the survey style.?ÿ
The VRS is GPS and Glonass only.?ÿ
@john-hamilton What is Alloy?

I think you answered your own question: your VRS is only GPS and Glonass constellations, so there's no reason to worry about having those checked on your VRS survey style.
Can confirm, this is what happens when connecting to a VRS with GPS+GLO. We had some crews connecting to the incorrect mountpoints with their R10s and we saw the same thing.
Shouldn't be a problem as long as the survey style is not changed (i.e. unchecking the additional signals). The next time a static session is started with the controller, as long as those signals are checked in the "FastStatic" signal tracking screen in the style options, they will be turned back on.
Alloy is Trimble's reference receiver, like a beefed-up NetR9.
