Check out this (long overdue) blog post from our Geodetic and Control Surveys class... I would really like to develop/expand this experiment to include multiple locations/observations in the future. Let me know if you have ideas!

With this information they were able to calculate a circumference of 24,383 feet. The value they calculated is similar to a currently accepted value of the earth’s circumference at the equator of 24,901 miles.
