I started looking through the data for the Colorado GSVS of 2017. I was interested in the leveling data for the project.

Unfortunately, the leveling data linked from Dr. van Westrumƒ??s paper was in .lvl format. I also found it difficult to determine from file names what points were included in the various files. Probably my problem.

The .lvl file format shows setup-level data showing each setupƒ??s BS and FS rod intercepts and BS and FS distances, etc.

I prefer to use the section-level data available through the NGSƒ?? beta siteƒ??s ƒ??Leveling Projects Page.ƒ? See: https://beta.ngs.noaa.gov/datasheets/leveling-projects/index.html ?ÿThe Colorado GSVS leveling project ID is: L 28514

I was also disappointed to note that the datasheets for project points do NOT include orthometric heights nor gravity values.?ÿ
