?ÿSo, Frank is getting a playmate.?ÿ A new GNSS reciever.?ÿ Which has me wondering, will they play nice together.?ÿ Frank is stuck in the 90's (for some strange reason trimble refuses to call me back about a warranty purchase so Frank can move into this century).?ÿ So is the date issue going to mess with me if I attempt to use it as a base for RTK?

I gather you're not able to load firmware version 2.32. Bummer. That should not affect RTK because the GPS week number isn't ever transmitted in the correction messages. The receiver will report an incorrect date, but no matter, everything else should be correct. If you ever use the receiver for static, use TEQC to convert the .DAT to RINEX and use TEQC's -WEEK option to set the correct GPS week number.

Actually, for static, I use fixdatweek, then covert to ruined from trimble.

Are you trying to contact Trimble directly or a dealer? That's a dealer function.

Man, I have tried both with the results being equally pathetic.?ÿ I know that my $500 doesn't mean diddly squat to Trimble or to DP (the survey equipment company not the Okie) but at this point I really think my next gun is coming from either a friend in FL or the big place in Duluth.?ÿ They have been very responsive and helped me out when I needed it.
