What are those black round washer type looking thingy's that come with PM2's? :-/

I think those were to allow the antenna to be mounted on a standard tripod without using a tribrach and adapter. It never made sense to me, though, because there'd be no mechanism for leveling and centering.

Direct mount on tripod with plumb bob hanging to point.

Most pm2 were sold in places where tribrachs are unknown.

Mark - interesting. However, the washers are not shown in the ProMark2 manual that was delivered with my receivers. Neither is their use.

As a digression from the thread topic but, on the subject of ProMark2's, when the firmware is updated, are BOTH the Navigation and Surveying routines updated? What was the last firmware update?

They came with my PM3s

They work great as replacement feet on bipods.
