I submitted a few files to OPUS a couple of hours ago, but haven't received results. Not sure if it matters, but I associated them with OPUS Projects.

Is it working for anyone else?

I wonder if somebody is tasking the system with a massive experiment...

It's not working for me either. I uploaded a regular opus static file about 3 hours ago and still haven't received an email.

Corey,
If you don't get results by morning, contact PALS for advice. Those 'science' experiments can get pretty big.

It looks like they got caught up. I received results emails just now (5:50 a.m. PDT or so).

Not Guilty this time. I did get a nasty gram from them the other day. I am working on a science project and sent 659 1 hour 59 minute 45 second files to OPUS RS. It was on it's knees all day. I am going to do the rest of it at night on weekends.

I am going to compare the results from multiple sessions of different lengths to get a better feel for what I should expect from each sessions length. One of my data sets will include 3,600+ 20 minute observations.

I will also be processing that same data set in 1 hours sessions, 4 hour sessions, and 30 minute sessions.

Steve,
Any time I hear about OPUS slowdowns, I picture you in your 'laboratory' repeatedly hitting the submit button.

Tell us more about this latest project.

Your PAL,

Steve, I'd call that OPUS abuse. I hope you'll be publicly publishing some useful results to justify all that abuse.

Steve, you are small fry compared to the really big submitters. I won't out them, but they are 10X your worst rate. 🙂

And, in this case it is not me either.

I submitted something yesterday morning and haven't received an email. Resent it this morning and still nothing.

It's been working for me today. There's a note on the OPUS Projects page dated today about fixing the email problem yesterday.
