Haven't done this type of waterway survey using GPS. What's your opinion, will I be getting sufficient GPS signals for a fix status for this type of environment?

Client sent some pictures of the waterway that he needs to have surveyed. In past waterway surveys, I usually have access to the top banks and could measure points of the waterway. Don't even know if I should attempt to establish traverse stations on the water itself.

Looks like you will have to set control with GPS and dust off the robot for the survey.

Looks easy for an R12 Base and an R12i rover (trimble)

or set control and use a level and a right angle prism and tape off a baseline.

Not knowing what discharges from those white pipes above, I would avoid being below them as much as possible.?ÿ
