hello friends,
I have a survey job, performed with Topcon Hiper receiver and DC running fieldgenius, I need to export my vectors with informations especially rtk solution type (float or fixed) and accuracy, all export options in fieldgenius doesnt give these information, is there any way to extract that from the raw file?? Thanks

Is the "raw file" an ASCII text file, or a binary file?

Maybe someone has written such a program, if not, you may have to do it (or get somebody to do it).

I would [like to] think that Fieldgenius has either an Option or a Tool to do exactly what you want/need. If not, then I would be PO'd if I were you.

Fieldgenius had a limited export options, basically it export coordinates and height. I used to work with trimble TSC2 wich export jobxml file with all vectors informations.

Carlson' xport program would successfully import a fieldgenius raw file by using the TDS data type. That was true with FG 7.

Not sure that would help but, after importing to xport, you could try and parse the record for GPS observations.

I don't know of an existing commercial package to perform that task.

The Fieldgenius website:

http://www.microsurvey.com/products/fieldgenius/compfeatures_detail.htm

Implies that all of the "cool" data is there (somewhere).

Do you have the "standard" or "premium" version? Maybe that's the hold up (pun intended).

i have standard version 6 standard, but it has the same export options as the table shows, its basically all point coordinates in several format, non one of these format export vector informations.
