leica GX1230 GPS series logging showing year 2003
GPS rollover April 6, 2019. Check myWorld if there is firmware available that was released to handle the rollover event. There are tools out there that can "correct" the dates in RINEX files.
I'm fairly certian that a newer fimrware resolves this, as I recall using a GX1230 back in late 2019 which did not require the date correction.
@jacob-wall Just like you suggested above, this must be a rollover-issue thingey. I also have a GX1230 (non-GG version so GPS only) and I just bumped into this thread so maybe I will go out and try it. I am worried if this thing happens to me as well. The problem with GX1230 instruments is that these are already out of maintenance date so the firmware found on myworld database won't install.
Very very sorry if I come off as intrusive but would you mind sharing the Leica firmware for the GX1230 if you have any of the older ones (version 5.xx or older, I am sure these are good to solve the rollover date issue.)
leica GX1230 GPS series logging showing year 2003
all Leica gx 1230 and similar with measure engine 2.127 and older are noticed to have the date changed to 2003 although they are still working and Leica said they have no replacement measure engine card
check USER >status > system information and find out what M.E on your machine
thanks
