I used DSWORLD to enter some recovery reports today, and had to give up including the railroad's crossing number in the description.?ÿ It insisted on converting crossing number 137 M to parenthetical feet when I hit Format.?ÿ I assume it would have done the same thing on submitting even if I didn't preformat it.

Did you try enclosing the crossing number in single quotes??ÿ That seems to work in WinDesc.

No. I'll try that next time something similar comes up.

I havent memorized the acceptable character set, and recall it is fairly limited per the web form, so have avoided most special characters.
