This sounds like the survey equipment used by the geodetic department of a small country. What type of work were you involved in?

Funny...I was cleaning up the garage and found an old T1 users manual. I was thinking of logging in and asking if anyone had an old t1 without a manual. I figured they might want to send it to me to go with my manual. 🙂

Good luck. I wish I could afford the value of one of those machines.

Hello Retired PLS,

Have you sold all the theodolites that you listed in your original post from two years ago? You had almost 1% of all the T4's ever manufactured (357 from one list I saw)! I am interested in what you might have left.

Sincerely,
TimH

FWIW,

There is a US Army technical manual which is probably available free here: http://www.liberatedmanuals.com/TM-5-6675-312-14.pdf

It can also be purchased as a PDF for 20 CHF (~ 1380 Indian rupees) at: http://www.wild-heerbrugg.com/shop/print_product_info.php?products_id=203

Description is:

Operational, Maintenance and Service Manual for Wild Heerbrugg T2 for Instruments produced between 1936 - 1972 (serial number 5602 through 55124)

I do not know whether this TM provides information appropriate to the level of service you require.

Cheers,

DMM
