I have three working GPS units ... antennas, brackets, cables, download bracket, 2(maybe 3), cases and software(which is also downloadable).
The third GPS I bought from Hayes, always had sticky keys. They're still sticky, but work. In winter, they're more sticky, but with brute strength, they still work. The other 2 units are just fine.
I'm looking for $600 each for the better two and $300 for the third. If the third one doesn't sell, I may have plans for it.
I really want to sell these to someone who knows something about PM 2's, and knows all the computer requirements to use them(RS232 serial or USB serial).
I also don't want to get hung up in a back & forth renegotiation. I'd really like to sell to someone near Ohio or to someone who knows a northern Ohio surveyor who would be willing to verify that they do work ... this way, everyone can feel warmer about the deal. If it's relatively close, I can deliver the units personally.
I also have 3 seco bi-pods, a short seco bi-pod along with a number of 2-meter rods(graphite & Alumalite), a three hundred foot nyclad, a 300' pioneer(if I can find it), and a 100' babbit(check-tape) ... if I can find it.
I have an older, working Schoenstadt(52?), first one with the rectangular head, a Geotec(pre Pentax), 32 power precision tilting level, three sliding mini peanut prisms(for 3/16(?) rods and some 9/11 thread peanut prisms.
I also have a 15' Alumalite rod and 1, or 2 Seco(heavy), 15' rods.
If someone, new to business, found interest in the GPS, I'd be willing to set up a payment plan with easy conditions)
either my phone # is, or will be in my profile
I will go half on postage & insurance
Do you have prices on the additional equipment or is it included with the GPS units?
The GPS come with the bracket, antenna, antenna cable and rod bracket. I also have 2 download brackets and hope to ensure that anyone who buys the GPS will either have a download bracket or that I would then include one.
2-meter Crain Alumalite each $25($20 each in group of 2 or more)I think I have 5
15' Alumalite rod $25
15' Seca rod $25(both for $40)
2-meter composite rod $30
2-meter composite rod $25 (broken level... I have a new level vial if I can find it)... $45 for both
mini-peanut $20
mini peanut $20
mini-peanut $15(dry bubble)
I used these mini-peanut on 3/16" or 1/4" rods for traversing. I'd set the rod solid, ever so slightly off plump and slide the prism to the top where a distance error would be most negligible(something like about 1/32 or less of an inch/did't use the bubble to do this), then set my ground point(8"nail), while tweaking the rod slightly, then after checking plumb & doing my thing I'd leave the rod ... sometimes the prism as a backsite. Often, for less than 100-600 feet, I used 3/16 rod with reflector tape(I often carried 5 or more of these for traverses).
mini prism w 9/11 thread $20
mini prism w 9/11 thread $20
mini prism w 9/11 thread $20
Geotec precision tilting level $250 32X with split level ... very precise
Schoenstadt GA22 not working $5 ... just finally stopped ... you pay all postage
CST 100 not working 5$ ... also just stopped ...you pay all postage
Shoenstadt GA52(?) $50 works fine square can
300' nyclad $20 on semi-enclosed reel
300' pioneer $20 on open reel no nob on cranking arm
100' Babbit $20 used for base/checking tape loose/not on reel
I'll take the two composite 2 meter poles. Please let me know where to send payment. Thanks Dan.

Got back to Akron yesterday and have the rods. Another guy wants either 2 alumalites or graphite rods. I'm pretty sure he'll accept the alumalites.
Raining at the boat today so it's hard to pull the stuff out of the car and I need to find someplace to send stuff from
