Topcon Legacy E GGD - two dual frequency Legacy E GGD 40 channel receivers (L1/L2) with 4 mb ram enabled, advanced multipath rejection, Cinderella option to access Glonass every other Tuesday, two Legant antennas (GPS/Glonass), 35w PacCrest base radio, 1w PacCrest rover radio (internal battery holds charge well), all cables, 2 camcorder batteries (hold charge well), two tribrachs for static work (if not using fixed height tripods), heavy duty hard carrying case (holds receivers, antennas, rover batteries (2), cables, radios, radio antennas and one tribrach, soft carrying case and fanny pack for rtk work, Ranger 200T data collector with TDS Survey Pro/GPS (battery holds charge well - up to 8+ hours in field), charger for rover radio, charger for camcorder batteries, charger for Ranger, TDS manuals, Topcon Utility CD. Both receivers are set up to be used as a base or rover. This is a great system for static work (including OPUS) and works well for rtk work (if you don't mind the cables). I used the system a few weeks ago to topo a 1 acre site and everything worked good. This was a top of the line system when I bought it in November 2001. It has been well taken care of. Price is $7995.00 plus shipping/insurance to U. S. address only (no P.O. Box). Will donate $300.00 to Wendell's site if this sells here. Serious inquiries - contact me via email for other details or questions. Pictures and serial numbers available on request. Location is Roanoke, VA. Thanks.

Any idea how much to upgrade those to full glonass?
Thnks.

You might contact Kris M. He is sounding like he might be willing to trade for some Trimble equipment.
I haven't checked into it recently. A couple years ago I was being quoted around $7000 - it didn't seem worth it at the time because I wan't using the system all the time.

I'm not interested in trading. My intentions are to retire or pursue a different career. 36 years surveying has taken its toll. I never thought I'd say it, but I think I'm ready to move on to something different.
For the record, turning on the GLONASS signal tracking on these receivers would now be $1,000.00 each.

Thank you Jerry. If you don't mind my asking, what is the cost to have additional ram enabled? The receivers have 96 mb available. Thanks.
Phil
Quote last fall was $500 per 4 meg
