Would love to find a Crawford Timber Scribe , but would settle for the Great Lakes style timber scribe. The Great Lakes style seems to be out of stock, and I have not been able to find a Crawford for a long time. I have used the Lo-Ink scribe in the past, and I do not like how the blade is attached compared to the radius point (puts the blade to low). Let me know what you guys might be willing to part with. Shipping to Helena MT.

I have a spare Crawford Timber Scribe I'd part with. The extra blades are all gone. I'd let it go for $100.

I have an extra Crawford Timber Scribe I'd part with. The extra blades are installed on the scribe, so they are like new.

It says the photo is too large. I'll try and email it to you. It's a Crawford Timber Scribe. Looks very similar to the LoInk Scribe.

The Crawford Timber Scribe is cast aluminum with a spare blade storage compartment built into the handle.

I had a NICE Wood Handle (old style but different than Jerry's) Timber Scribe, that worked GREAT, and marked quite a few BTs over the years. I made the mistake of loaning it to a friend, who then moved to Arizona, and I never saw it again.

I Bought a new Crawford shortly thereafter, but never cared much for it. It's still pretty much brand new, despite being over 30 years old now.

Not for sale though, I might need it again.

That's what the one I have looks like except no spare blades or Allen wrenches.

Well, after making the mistake of letting a greenhorn use one of our timber scribes, said greenhorn dropped it coming down the mountain. 😡 ?ÿ

?ÿ

If anyone has another Crawford timber scribe laying around that they would like to see put to good use, I would gladly take it off their hands (and keep it out of the hands of any greenhorns).
