I need a few thing just for doing topo and layout work around my home. I got an old Topcon 2B for dirt cheap, and just looking for a tripod and prism setup for cheap. Doesn't have to be in great shape since I'm just using it for personal, non-boundary stuff (but the legs would have to be able to hold the gun of course). Anything would be great... just shoot me info and asking prices. Prefer local to Chattanooga area to avoid shipping costs. Just checking before I hit up EBay. Thanks y'all!

Been good Nate. I'm in GA now around Chattanooga, TN. I haven't surveyed for work in over six years, but crave it every day. I still have my NC license on inactive, but had to let my AR and TN go back when I had my last MS relapse. Might try to get my GA so I can do small lot jobs here and there, but don't know if my lapse in work will affect my acceptance or not.

For now, I'm holding out hope that I can get back in the field. I'd have to do small, flat lots with no time pressure the way I am now, but I see new MS advancements all the time. Maybe getting this new setup going will get me back in the game in the next year or two. My wife is against it, because she's not much for carrying me back to the vehicle when my back and legs stop supporting me! I only get 45 minutes at a time at most, and a lot less when it's hot outside.
