Do you mean the more modern RDS? The RDS is based on a comparable T-16, with the bullet-dome case.

RDH's are almost non-existent in the USA, I've only seen them sourced from collectors in Europe- also, both the RDS and RDH required a special tacheometry staff, graduated in cm's only- no US/Imperial version existed. (the internal glass markings on the RDH are specifically for distance measurement using a cm-graduated staff/rod....?ÿ European surveyors seemed to utilize this type of tacheometer for measuring distances much more than US based surveyors (Zeiss, Kern, Wild, all had similar instruments; whereas no US-based manufacturer ever produced one)

The 2 RDS models that I was able to find and purchase last year, came from Spain and France respectively.

I didn't realize that RDHs existed in such low numbers here on our side of the Ocean.?ÿ

Will focus my search overseas still with the hope that someone closer to home may be willing to sells theirs.

Ok, if seeking a Wild RDH try GSI-Optical, overseas in Holland/ Netherlands.. he's had a couple RDH's in the past.

The owner's name is Mr. Guy Paone, I've done business with him and can recommend his services- he may not have an RDH at the moment, but he can keep your request on file and see if anyone has one as he interacts with other customers.?ÿ The RDH's that I've seen for sale in Europe were about 1000-1200 Euro ($1200-$1400 USD), I think.

I had resolved to just waiting to see if someone in the US had one to sell or if one came through ebay.

I will contact Mr.Paone and ask him to keep me in mind if one should pop-up his way and will also keep checking with meetcentrum.
