This Carlson Surveyor + RTK/GPS/GNSS data collector and Novatel receiver has been only slightly used for the last 16 months in the Wisconsin Trimble VRS network. It has the latest and greatest OEM 628 board which really expands its potential to where previous GPS systems could not go.
I have obtained exceptional results under partial tree canopy, and with my field checking, the positional reliability of this unit has proven to be consistently excellent.
I am selling this unit since the internal BT range of the Surveyor + data collector is about 500 feet to a robotic total station, and I would like to get at least 1000 feet.
If you are using strictly for GNSS applications then the long range BT is not an issue. However it is still a very viable system to the robot under 500 feet.
