Hello everyone. I'm upgrading to a Phantom 4 Pro and my Phantom 3 Pro will be going on Ebay. I thought I would post it here first though. It's never been crashed and comes with 2 extra batteries and all accessories that it came with new. I haven't even used the extra props yet. I can post pics if there is interest.

I'm still researching an asking price so I may add that shortly.

Make an offer.

Gregg

Gregg,

DJI just released the Phantom 4 Pro 2.0. Same price as P4P at $1500 and now shipping from DJI direct. Not much of an upgrade from the P4 Pro.?ÿ

The main new features of the P4P V2.0 are that it comes with a new controller, uses DJIƒ??s OcuSync for high-resolution and low-latency digital video transmission and reduces propeller noise by up to 60%. The new propellers, and other accessories, including batteries, chargers and ND filters, are same as the Phantom 4 pro.

If I were buying now, I'd go with the P4P 2.o.?ÿ

Lee, I saw that but nothing jumped out as being interesting to me. What specifically do you like about the new one?

The P4P is down to $1289 now too.

Gregg

Lower and better controller with less interference.?ÿ

I'm hoping P5 comes out sometime this year with interchangeable camera, longer battery,?ÿ

I just attended the Topodot user conference in Orlando. This software helps generate breaklines from point clouds that are quicker and just as accurate as conventional topo. Can create 3d power lines, auto create break-line from a pavement stripe. Great features for roadways, curbs and rail also. I can now deliver a better product in less time, from my point clouds.

Oh, the interference thing is pretty important.?ÿ I was having issues yesterday.?ÿ Maybe because I was close to a substation and working on an old iron mine tailings pile.

I've been researching topodot but haven't tried it. I think that would be the key to efficient mapping.

Great software, a but pricey, if you don't already own Microstation. As it only runs inside Microstation.

How would you compare that with Virtual Surveyor?

I am having difficulty managing the point cloud or 3d mesh and searching for similar software.
