Okay then.... failed to get this setup sold last time so I will put it out there again. Ashtech GPS system consisting of Z-12 receiver with Real Time Z option, Ashtech 700718 ground plane antenna, power cable, antenna cable, download cable, basically everything you need to get going with OPUS including free phone support.

I am including an alligator clip adaptor and a battery that needs cells ($50 or so and easy to do, just too much of a hassle to ship w batteries)

Tested before I send it out and guaranteed not to be DOA

This will be sold! Starting out at $600 complete including shipping (lower 48 USA only)... then each couple days or so the price will drop $25. So it is truly first come first served.

It is sold when the payment is in my Paypal account. Wendell and Angel get 5%. So if it sells for $600 you send me $570 and Surveyor Connect $30. That's what everyone else does when they sell on here, isn't it?

Anyway, hope this goes to someone who can put it to good use. Wow how times have changed... Back in the Day we used to charge $600 for a single GPS point.

Want to buy it now or have questions? just Email me.

Thanks, Mike

That is a hatbox style antenna case custom made by the dealer I bought the system from. The S/N has a -3 suffix which means 3 megs of RAM, I believe. Hours and hours (maybe days?) of collection time if set at 30 sec while doing OPUS.

I think the Antenna is what NGS calls the Ashtech "Whopper" (ASH700718.B). I have two of them and they are great. This is a really solid set up for Opus or base (depending on firmware etc). My Z-12s have only one meg of ram and I have never had a memory issue.

Good stuff.

We have Z12 receivers with 1 meg of memory. They will collect data for 16 1/2 hours at a 30 second epoch interval. If these have 3 megs, they should be able to collect data for 48 hours at a 30 second interval. Do you have the HI rods for the system?
