Considering getting a tablet now that they have been out awhile, but need to be able to sell this controller. The TSC3 was new in Sep-2013 and has been kept updated. Has internal radio for use with robot, Roading Module, Construction Instrument codes (for use with SPS construction receivers), charger and case. Nothing wrong with it, just looking for a bigger screen. $7000

Eddie,

You might get a deal from your Trimble Dealer on a trade in for a piece of equipment that would better benefit your company. The reason I bring this up is I had a TSC3 ran over by a DA on an all terrain fork lift a few months back. I was given a $1000 trade-in credit for the damaged unit and had the replacement in my hands for the $6300.

Its $1000 regardless of condition. Roading, CI code, and radio add quite a bit to the cost.

No. I think it can be added. They changed their rule about that recently.

Dealer says new one equipped the same would be $8800 + tax.

The trade in value was for the damaged unit as a trade-in for a new TSC3 with Trimble Access and internal radio. I was thinking that you might be in need of some other equipment that the dealer could cut you a deal with your unit as a trade in (at a fair value of course).
