Here is module 2. This was a little tricky for a Texas guy. Have any pointers? I will upload the section and township notes.

Great job. I didn't do a thorough look. A suggestion - since this is for a map to search for original monuments, the feature calls are important too. Might show them on your drawing, i.e. - dry river crossings, etc, etc. They aid significantly in searches for original monuments.

There were quite a few of those topo calls in the notes.

Maybe I'm missing something (again)...

But it appears that your "1901 retracement" data is for the EAST boundary of T2N,R12E (East Line Section 24).

The 1901 Retracement of the WEST line of T2N,R12E is found under T2N,R13W, and shows a bearing break at the West å? of Section 19. Pages 608 & 609

SW S19
N0å¡05'E 39.65 chs.
Wå? S19
N0å¡08'W 39.75 chs.
NW S19

But it's late, and I might be out to lunch too.

Not seeing the notes, so make darn sure they don't show the N1/4 or S1/4 at something other than 40ch.(rare).

Also, your prof is awful nice. I'd put measured distances on there, especially the E-W centerline, and asked where to set it in absence of other evidence. reality

I'll check into that this morning. I thought I had the right one, but it was late for me too.

I'm sure he will. This is part 1 of this assignment, so he just asked us to prepare a sketch to search for corners by.

Just read the fine print in regular sized text at the top of the page that clearly reads "East Boundary of T. 2 N. R. 12 W. HUGE THANK-YOU.
