I have no idea about the circumstances.
I happened upon this google maps image while looking at Magnolia Texas for the Lone Pint Brewery.

No cones, no flags, no follow truck, just four guys standing out in the middle of the state highway.......
As our illustrious president would tweet: Sad.

And they came in 4 different trucks.
Sometimes you gotta do it. If you look back down the road theres a truck that looks like its getting ready to put out barrels. Theres also some flagman ahead signs the other direction, though I didn't see the flagger. I run into this all the time, because I'm usually the first guy to get there. They don't even know where to set the signs and barrels until somebody marks some limits.

Did you find the brewery?

🙂
Yes, it's a little facility near the center of town, but not very tourist friendly.
Only open on Saturdays, and a bit too far off the road from Houston to San Antonio.
I'm doubting the other three baseball trippers will want to make such a wide detour.
Angelo
Looks like standard SOP to me. Play in the road on a regular basis. Including today.
Angelo, if you're wanting to add breweries to your Texas tour, here's an excellent one to visit: the Real Ale Brewing Co. in Blanco, Texas:
There are lots to choose from in Austin, but Blanco offers both a cute location and an excellent product.
Don't let the glass of white wine in the website photo fool you. The Redbud Cafe in Blanco is both a great place to have lunch and offers virtually all of the extensive line of Real Ale products for sale, most on tap.
Right across the street from the Redbud Cafe is the old Blanco County Courthouse that is the twin brother of that of Concho County in Paint Rock. The county seat was later moved to Johnson City where many of Paden Cash's relations live, but the original courthouse remains in Blanco.
Plenty of breweries to visit here in Houston. 8th Wonder is right up the road from the stadium, perfect for pregaming. Also got St. Arnolds, Karbach, Brash, Eureka Heights, Town in City (more of a local bar), Buffalo Bayou... Those are all fairly close to central Hopston.
St. Arnolds is really good stuff.
Oregon (Washington as well) is a beer drinker's paradise. I live in a town of 20K and we have 3 craft breweries, 2 cider houses and a sake brewery not to mention the countless wineries in surrounding farm land. I'm headed to one of the local breweries a friend owns to help my wife hang an art show. I sure I will not be drinking any beer. Safety first and all.
