Does anyone know approximately how long it takes for the NCEES to prepare the record once you complete your application?

Thanks!

No, but depending on how many additional licenses you are wanting to pick up the NCEES record is not cost effective. The NCEES record program is designed for engineers who can just apply and receive licenses with no additional state testing. I currently have 6 state licenses and decided early on that the different state requirements and qualifications coupled with the fees made the record undesirable.

Thanks for the reply.

Kentucky will probably be my last license. I am already licensed in 4 states. I have a unique situation. Being in West Tennessee, I can be in 4 adjoining states in a little over an hour's drive from my front door.

Kentucky requires an NCEES record as part of the application.

Jimmy,

The NCEES record takes approximately 60 days to process. A valuable investment of time for the individual seeking multiple license. Let me know if you need any help.

Hindsight is 20/20 obviously, but it would have saved you lots of time to get the record before getting the other states. I don't think it takes them long to process the record.

If it is your last license then you will want to end your NCEES record system subscription... the yearly maintenance fee was the the main deterrent in my justifying the expense. I will get when I take the PE in a few years... It will be too hard to verify all my different colleges, experience, and what nots more than once ever again.
