Anyone heard of these FS prep courses before??ÿ I have a guy who wants to take the FS, but doesn't have a lot of exam experience.?ÿ Am hoping to find a FS review course (online) that he could take.?ÿ Seems to be a severe lack out there.?ÿ I found these two, but don't want to trip the trigger until I know if either them is worth taking.
Here are a couple I found in a google search, that I know nothing about:
https://www.schoolofpe.com/fs/
https://www.nlcprep.com/fs/
Thanks!

OSU-OKC offers an 8 week summer coarse for FS Review. I felt like it was great and covered the necessities. I took the class and then the FS a week after and passed it first try. It could be a coincidence but I felt as confident as I could going into it.
Idaho Stste University has an on-line FS prep course. Not sure the prereqs..
Following closely, as I am preparing for the FS exam as well.
I tagged a guy I know on this post through LinkedIn that took courses from Nettleman ( https://www.nlcprep.com/fs/ ), I'll let him speak to the value of that prep course if he chooses. I've not been encouraged by the many references I've received.
I do not recognize the other, I'm looking in to it as well! It looks like it's only available for a week though and sort of pricey...
From experience, the nlc test prep was the biggest waste of money. I would recommend the elementary surveying book and the surveyor's reference manual. Read those books cover to cover and work the problems throughout.
He doesn't look like he's ever been outside.?ÿ One example problem he posted on youtube regarding a lot with two curves along each end.?ÿ It was a completely ridiculous question, and take a look at what he calls the central angle.?ÿ He also had a metes and bounds problem regarding metes and bounds in subdivision and explained why this absolutely cannot be done, but he failed to say that one could call out the lot lines and corners in the metes and bounds, and it would be just fine.
