8 Hour PDH/CEU Classes offered in VA.

The Western Chapter of the Virginia Association of Surveyors (VAS) is offering 2 seminars of 4 hours each (8 hours total) to any surveyors that need to fulfill or supplement their PDH/CEU requirements.

Friday, October 26, 2012 in
Multi-Purpose Room #1 at the
Montgomery County Government Center
755 Roanoke Street
Christiansburg, VA 24073

Sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a lunch provided.

Morning Session:
Instructor: Charles Banks, CFM (DCR)
Topic: Flood Elevation Certificates & Floodplain Issues

Afternoon Session:
Instructor: Larry Phipps, LS (www.landsurveys.com)
Topic: The Seven Deadly Sins of Surveying

VAS Members: $60.00 Non-VAS Members: $70.00
The sessions are only available as a package deal and checks will need to be mailed as soon as possible.

Wow, $60/$70 for 8 hours, lunch included? Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Are you guys going to be able to afford Larry with that kind of rate? 🙂

They got a sweet deal on the room and the FEMA speaker too.

It's hard to pass up a class at that price, huh?

WOW.....compare with the seminar mentioned below at $180, with no mention of a free lunch or a $60 drawing.
