I miss him from the old rpls.com. He was a great fellow, and I wish he were on board here... but I don't know enough to contact him. The old computer had his email, but it is gone.
Thanks,
Nate
Nate,
I was thinking about him the other day. I hope he is doing well where ever he is.
Jimmy
Jobo is one of my favorite people.
Someone should call Zac Ephron for an update on his great-uncle.
> Jobo is one of my favorite people.
:good: :good:
He was around here a while back...but he is really shy he said and didn't post much. 🙁
wasn't he heavily involved in that whole series of posts about missing information on a survey problem? I seem to recall he was in a minority of people that thought there was plenty of info and we were all missing it. Haven't heard much from him since then.. coincidence??
Jobo's doing fine, I saw his son, Gary, at our conference a few weeks ago.
Somebody hacked his email and it spooked him, so he doesn't use a computer much any more. Frikin spammers.....
Dugger
Doug,
thanx for the update.
I miss him too.
He had great sense of humor mixed with dry wit in some of his posts that made me LOL.
Plus his surveying knowledge was immense and interesting.
R.
Someone needs to convince him that posting here is safer than responding to emails.
Definitely more safe than posting on the other site...
Here's Jobos user info... He hasn't posted since 12-10-10!! 🙁
I emailed Jobo some time ago and said that we missed him on the new (at the time) board. We had a couple of emails back and forth and he did, indeed, mention that thread. I think he was embarrassed about it.
Like Ralph said he was 'one of my favorite people'.
I think Jobo used that line with a lot of people. (and meant it).
If Jobo looks in on the board: Hey Jobo, we would love to have you join us.
