7 of 9. Resistance is futile...

No wait - that was someone else. We are 1 of 3. Actually, now it's 1 of 2, sadly.

You will be assimilated.

3 of 4 for Mom. 3 of 6 for Dad. Add in Steps and I'm 4 of 10. Former steps puts me at 9 of 17.

2 of 3, 2 years each way.

My Dad was the youngest of 10 and had a nephew the same age as him. My Mother, who was 8 years younger than Dad was the oldest of 5 1/2.
I had uncles and aunts that ranged from 59 years older than me on my dads side of the family to 9 years older than me (same birthday) on my mothers side. That's not counting my mothers half brother, Uncle Charlie, he is 6-8 years younger than me. Haven't seen him in over 40 years.

I'm first of two. SWMBO is first of six. Do all first-born couples butt heads as regularly as we do?

I know a couple who are both only children. I can only imagine the difficulty they have had adjusting to partnering, sharing and not demanding center stage at all times. Their four children thank them for their existence. Nevertheless, they are still married after at least 58 years. What makes their marriage even more special is that this is her second marriage and he was engaged to a different woman, but she was killed in a car wreck shortly prior to their wedding date.

Me and my wife are both oldest. We seem to butt heads on a regular basis.

My first two wives were also oldest. Seems to be a trend.
