This morning I looked at radar and saw a system of moisture running northwest from Enid up into Barber County, Kansas.?ÿ Looked a few minutes ago and it all seems to be setting in the exact same place only now it's below 32F.
It was almost 60F here this morning and now it is 30F with a feels like of 17F due to northwest winds at 19mph.
Spent the afternoon atop a knob in a cemetery in 20-30 mph conditions.?ÿ Better believe I was buttoned up tight by the time we finished.
It was 55 and humid this morning with a south breeze.?ÿ I made the mistake of not watching the weather before I left about the time the sun came up.?ÿ?ÿ
This time of year I usually wear a flannel shirt with a heavy zip-up hoodie.?ÿ As I threw my gear in the truck I got a little warm and left my hoodie on my chair at the house...big mistake.
After 20 minutes in the saddle I realized the wind was hard from the north.?ÿ I touched my window and realized it definitely wasn't 55 outside anymore.?ÿ The wind blew about 40 - 45 all day from the north and the temps kept dropping.?ÿ I wished I had taken my hoodie.?ÿ Took me a few yours to warm up once I got home.
It's 28 by my thermometer right now and the wind is still howling about at about 30.?ÿ I may put on my Superman jammies with the feet on them tonight.
Our high today was 52?øF.?ÿ It was cooling down,maybe 40?øF?, with serious wind when I walked to the post office late afternoon (1.5 mile round trip), but I survived with a flannel shirt and hoodie.
Right now the airport temperature is 13?øF on the way to predicted 3?øF.?ÿ Very fast cool-down.
27F now headed for an overnight low of 23F with high winds.?ÿ Tomorrow's high is 35F with an overnight low predicted to be 15F.?ÿ Santa had better put on a few extra layers for his stops all over the middle half of the US.
It was 55 when I got up this morning (Christmas Eve day).?ÿ It's supposed to rain hard this morning and then the temperature is supposed to drop like a stone.?ÿ 20s tonight with highs in the 30s tomorrow.?ÿ BRRRRR.?ÿ I'me ready for summer already.

Tomorrow will only change 1 degree from a high/low of 40/39. It looks weird on my weather app.
It??s 77 degrees here right now. This morning the prevailing winds were out of the southeast as usual at around six mph. Around ten am they increased to around fourteen with gusts up to twenty. They are now calming and switching to southwesterly which means we are about to be pounded by another front bringing the temperatures into the thirty??s Christmas morning. No shorts and t shirts tomorrow, Sunday, maybe. ?????ÿ

Peeked at radar again a few minutes ago (Sorry Radar) and that same area northwest of Enid is getting snow this morning, but it is a larger area.
Mrs. Cow told me our overnight low hit 10F.?ÿ Lots of white on everything from the frost.?ÿ Supposed to be 42F this afternoon but back to 14F tonight.
Nothing like my days near the lakefront of Lake Michigan when it could lock in on a temp and hold it day and night for two weeks straight.

@bill93 It was 27 when my Lab and I went for our walk.?ÿ Warm jacket, hat and gloves.?ÿ It wasn't too bad and the dog LOVED it.?ÿ I believe when it's this cold that the "sniffs" stay around longer.?ÿ I believe she smelled every mailbox, lamp post and street sign in the subdivision.
The local networks say it??s 49 degrees at my house it??s 58 in the shade and 73 in direct sunlight (which is where I am in a tshirt!) ?????ÿ
