Over the Memorial day weekend I let myself be talked into being part of a triathlon team. We were "Team Tripod" sponsored by PLSO, Professional Land Surveyor's of Oregon. My daughter, Renee was the organizational force. She is an LS/PE and I'm more than a little bit proud of her. She tried to get me to do it last year but I wimped out. This year my resistance and better judgement evaporated and I agreed to do it. I swam 500 metres, Harvey biked 12 miles and Renee ran 3 miles. We came in 99 out of 170. Not to shabby for the 2 old farts on the team.

I've done a couple tri races in my time. They are not easy, and I'm a terrible swimmer. Great job. Looks like a fun event.

I just found out that the Triathlon Renee needs help on is in Sweet Home the begining of Sept. That will make it easier for you to participate because it will be closer to you and Joe Ferguson.
