I have a pair of Merrel Moab 2 hiking boots that I really like. ?ÿThey??re not waterproof, but maybe with these that wouldn??t matter.

If they keep moisture out they will also keep it in. I wear wool or wool blend socks year round. I carry extras in a sealed baggie and change if they get soaked. My feet stay comfortable and healthy.?ÿ

These boots didn't hold much or get very heavy the last time they were wet.?ÿ Which is why I thought of the waterproof socks in the first place.
Yes and no.?ÿ They'll hold in sweat, and it would be a disaster if you step in water higher than the sock - but it is with waterproof boots, too.
