Walked slow and steady for about a hour. Looked for arrowheads and found 7. Just 14 days after bypass surgery I think it went well. Will be rehabbing for several weeks to come, so no surveying for a while. Guess I'll just keep looking arrowheads!!
Glad you are doing well.?ÿ ?????ÿ
Sounds like things are going well.?ÿ Keep it up.
In what part of the country can you walk for an hour and find 7 arrowheads??ÿ (Glad your recovery is going well in any case!)
We have tons of them to find around here. It is not my interest, so I don't do it, but plenty of others take it very seriously and WILL NOT say where they find the best ones.
Walked slow and steady for about a hour...
Great!?ÿ Keep it up.?ÿ Two weeks post op is a good time to start seeing how everything feels.?ÿ It took some work, but by six months after my "procedure" I felt like a new man.?ÿ
May the good Lord bless you with many, many more long walks.
Keep on keeping on.
Plenty of arrowheads around here, criminal charges to disturb them and a stern warning if caught there even though there are no warning signs. Just being there will get a ticket and your name placed on their list from Game Warden or COE official.
I'm in NC. Plenty of sandy fields so it's fairly easy walking. I've been hunting them for 44 years so I have certain fields that are almost guaranteed to produce.
Are there charges for picking them up on private land? I wish I had 1% of the arrowheads I picked up as a child. Most of them got tossed into the Flint River.
Great to hear that you are up and around.?ÿ My dogs keep me walking slow and easy too.?ÿ Usually they have to stop and sniff every mailbox, sign post and power pole along the route.?ÿ Oh, and add to the "pee mail" on said objects.

A person can do what they want on their own land unless the state has declared it to be of historical value and then the state historical society has control of any artifacts and how they are handled.
