I left my coffee pot lids open yesterday after cleaning it to dry, the reservoir lid and the basket lid. Unbeknownst to me, until first gulp this morning that something decided to crawl in.?ÿ
Ya ever have stink bug flavored coffee?
It is enough to gag a maggot! I kinda think eating a dried up dog turd would be better.
I have drank Folgers for years and their little jingle does not factor in stink bugs.
I'll bet that woke you up quicker than the regular Folgers ever did.
Yeah, that's an understatement, I threw up coffee at 4:45am and had to wash and clean the pot again before I could make something fit to drink and then I wish I had a taste tester available.
Stink bug would improve Folgers 😉

I love those stove tops! I had no idea they were even available other than in garage sales. You can cook fast or slow, and just as long as you like...
We had a glass stove top percolator many years ago- it made excellent coffee. Too bad I broke it when being mischievous as a kid... I used to slightly plug the perc tube so it would go KA-POW when enough steam built up. Once I was a little too zealous in my obstruction efforts... ONCE.
I paid $35 for my 8 cup rapid brew (not rapid trust me) in Emigh Hardware. It's the type with the hinged lid. The sight glass is glass. It tends to overflow, takes a lot of monitoring.
i paid a buck fifty for my other one, bigger glass sight glass, used in a thrift store. Got it in the original box, like new condition. The lid is like a sleeve, pushes into the pot, does not overflow. Sometimes when making a full 8 cup pot it pushes the lid up, I carefully push the lid back down. That thing is my best thrift store find.
I have followed this post, but have NOT clicked on any of the?ÿlinks posted within.?ÿ Now when I visit other sites, the "ad window" in my browser has a plethora of various coffee pot advertisements.

Now to expand a tiny bit. I would actually recommend a Firefox knockoff such as Pale Moon or Waterfox. These two have far less bloat than Firefox.
I allow ads on this site, but do not get ads on the vast majority of other sites I visit.
Of course, there are also more drastic measures one can take should one be more concerned with privacy and such..... though there is only so much we can "protect".?ÿ No matter how hard any individual tries (unless one is completely and 100% off the grid), our information is still "out there" and gets leaked on a fairly regular basis.

Only if the stink bug is carrying some sort of advertising (such as mini billboards on it's wings).
