Pretty darn fine movie. It's 2-3/4 hours long, so there is plenty to like or dislike. Very clean movie. Dark and violent with practically no blood. Some very nice twists occur which I think will surprise most viewers.
For NFL fans: A very well-known NFL star appears for a second or two.
Side note: The exit situation was probably like that in Aurora, Colorado. Only one way in with an emergency exit door near the right side of the screen located about thirty feet from the entry point to all seating.
I heard that a former Gator running back, who spent a little time in the NFL, Terry Jackson, was in the movie ... probably not who you are talking about.
I don't know if Terry Jackson is in it or not. The guy I'm thinking of is also known as being a pretty good dancer.
Excellent movie. My son told me that 91% of the movie tickets sold in the United States last weekend were for it...
The NFL player in the movie is Hines Ward. He is the one that turns his back to the collapsed field at the end of the play.
Yup. Hines Ward. You see him during the playing of the National Anthem along the sideline. I think there are others as well, but, not sure who. The name on the back of the kicker's jersey is that of one of the movie producers or director or something like that.......Ravenstahl, I think.
