I've been on all of them in Lake Michigan and Grand Marais. Did quite a bit of fishing from the Grand Haven pier. Mostly perch, except when the salmon were running, then that was always fun.
The ghost of Darwin is live and well on the Grand Haven pier. In spite of the signage and barricades, 4 or 5 people per year get washed off that. Usually found about 15-20 miles South after a few days. Major undertow takes them out, then they wash back up.
