SORRY, TREKKIES.?ÿ LEONARD NIMOY WAS IN MANY WESTERNS LONG BEFORE HE FOUND OUTER SPACE.?ÿ SAW HIM ON "GUNSMOKE" TODAY.?ÿ GENERALLY, HE PLAYS A BAD GUY.
SHOUTING TO WAKE YOU ALL UP.?ÿ IT'S DEAD AROUND HERE TODAY.
Nimoy??s turn as ??John Walking Fox? on Gunsmoke was one of the better episodes of that show.?ÿ
He played an Indian or Mexican several times with some interesting names.?ÿ That's a long way from his Ukranian roots.
The Rawhide episode named "Incident Before Black Pass" has a good native American character played by Nimoy.?ÿ When he tells Yates about his brother dying Yates tells him, "I'm sorry".?ÿ Nimoy's character asks Rowdy, "A white man is sorry an Indian is dead?"?ÿ
The episodes on YouTube are now apparently unavailable.?ÿ Something about a copyright claim by CBS.?ÿ What a crock.
?ÿ
Just saw him in "Wagon Train" a few day's ago. I never knew he was in so many Westerns. ?????ÿ
native American
When I was a kid they was called "Injuns". Times have changed.... ?????ÿ
If you are a Leonard fan, and are ever in Los Angeles, this is a MUST See. ?????ÿ

There should have been a place for Spock in the movie Cowboys and Aliens. Apparently, it needed a bit more spark in order to be popular.
Personally, I thought it was pretty decent entertainment.

I'll wager that a role was offered but that he was unwilling or unable to participate.
He was in one of the Virginian shows, as a good guy fighting a family of bad guys with Tom Skerritt as one of the bad guys. The number 2 from Star Trek fighting the number 2 from Alien.?ÿ
