Cats are more advanced than dogs. Cats and dogs can't create suction to drink like we can. Cats take advantage of the surface tension by dipping their tongue then withdrawing it very rapidly. Dogs lap it up by making a cup out of their tongue.

No offense to Democrats meant (I used to be one), or to cats or rats for that matter!
I was only trying to get into the “if it could be POSSIBLY be construed (or misconstrued) as having political (or religious) implications (or undertones),” then it MUST BE “Politics and Religion” mode that seems to be going around!

Well, just so you know Lightning "Zapperrat" is Democrat, Cocoa "Coquille" is Republican, Vanilla "Banilly" is Libertarian, and Sack "Hackysack" is Bi-partisan. And they all still get along together in harmony. 😀
