Look where they put some signs on our newly opened (today) Main Street project, that we have been suffering through for the past 2 years:
It's the surveyor's fault
Of course.
New sidewalks ??
Certainly doesn't meet ADA sidewalk requirements.
> New sidewalks ??
It was a total reconstruction project, from R/W to R/W.
Walking away .......... thin on left, thick on right !
TNAI
:-S WHAT? WHY? :-S
Unfortunately, common sense is a thing of the past.
It's the Inspectors fault
The contractor could be blamed, but why blame a scorpion for behaving like a scorpion? I blame the inspectors. Who is looking out for the public here? This sort of crap is no joke. This is the part you can see. Imagine what has been buried. That's a lot of tax money up the old poop chute.
They better pad that thing like a goal post or it's just a matter of time before someone gets hurt and holds their hand out to the city for compensation.
Signage placement ~ Welcome to Podunk
"It's certainly possible you remove the sign and repour the concrete. Is it something I want to waste money on and time? No. Pedestrians walking down the street and texting on a cellphone will need to pay more attention to avoid walking into a sign post." Our young mayor is quoted in the paper.
