Went by the Corvette Museum today. They pulled this one out of the sinkhole this morning. 
Oh, my. I think that one is a goner.
Every time I see a Corvette it's being driven by an old white haired guy doing 60 in the right lane of the freeway.

The other day I pulled up to a light on my scooter (with straight pipes) next to a (probably) 1968 427 c.i. Corvette. I'm not a Corvette guy by any means, but it was nice and original and had that deep-throated big-block rumble. The fella driving it was about my age, silver haired with our signature little "kok-sucker's" hat on his head.
I leaned over to the open window and announced, "My gawdy toy is louder than your gawdie toy!"
He winked and smiled, "My gawdie toy cost four times what your gawdie toy cost!". The light turned green and away he went. I gave him a thumbs-up.
