Last week I was in the South Bay area between San Jose and San Francisco going through training for our heavy lift drone. We started early in the AM and had some time to venture out, since everything is closed up we took a drive. Boy am I glad we did. I still cant believe folks actually live near this stuff!

Those that don't follow me on Instagram here are a few of the pics I took...

I took a road trip from Astoria, OR down to Orick, CA on that coastal highway last month and the entire drive looked like that which was pretty stunning.?ÿ There are definitely some cool things to see in this country.

It is very nice when you can just enjoy it. When you have to work in it it looks like steep hills, dense bush, and wet weather.?ÿ ?ÿ

@la-stevens Yeah a few weeks ago I was flying some T-Lines SW of Yuba City. Stayed in Woodland and ventured around through Napa and Sonoma as well as an offshoot to Chino. Drove right by yeah that time as I drone around San Pablo Bay. Stopped in at Fairfax last week, and that looks like a cool little area I need to explore.

I can see how that would be a great place to live, lots to do, weather is pretty good - and the food! But that all comes with California regulations and politics, which is crazy for someone from the midwest. But if I could score a job that pays in 150-175k department for Cal-Trans, Cal-Fire or the like, flying drones, mobile mapping, 3D scanning and back woods surveying, I guess I could make it work...
